N's Postcards - 46

A pretty cool looking dragon with absolutely no info on the artist. Not even a signature! This'll be a tricky one when I have time to track it down (if I can). Thanks Grandma!

Dragons! One that my husband tried to steal :D. He doesn't like postcards much, but he does like his dragons. :) I might have fun trying to figure out this artist, but we'll see what comes up! Thanks Yvonne!

The kid raises the dragon by Fan Zuoxin (I still think, I went and checked my other so the name would at least match ;) ). This is cut out of a piece of paper - the red is the paper, and everywhere there is white, that is where it was cut out. Pretty neat!! :D Thanks Van!

Cool looking dragon with bulls eyes on his wings. :D That may not be the best design feature... :) This painting is called Saint George and the Dragon, by Paolo Uccello (about 1397-1475). Gorgeous art - just think, it's over 500 years old now! :D Thank you Kaisa!! FI-492687

I love it! It's called The Kid Rides the Dragon by Fan Zuoxin (from as far as I can tell). It's a paper cut out, which are very cool, I some for my brother (yin yang dragons) and one for my step dad last year (a moose in a maple leaf). The artist was amazing - I wish I remembered his name. Thank you very much Van! And if anybody knows what the card says, I would love to know! :D

A wonderful dragon card from Vanessa. The sky is sparkly too! The artist is Mila Marquis, and it is actually hard to find her art online - well her fantasy art, I found some of her portraits. Gorgeous! Thank you!! CH-20905

A wonderful card, with gorgeous costumes from a religious festival at Bao-an Temple, Taipei. I love the costumes, and if you look closely at their, um, wings (?) it looks like they have dragons :D
Thanks you Aishia! TW-21682

Yamantaka, a tibetan painting. It says on the back: "Tibetan painting of Yamantaka, the Conqueror of Yama, the God of Death. Manjushri, whose benign face appears at the top of Yamantaka's many terrible heads, took this fierce form to defeat Yama and thus triumph over evil, suffering, and death." He's a little hard to see but I like him a lot! Thanks Elisa!
