And it came here, another windy city. Chicago is known as the windy city, but there are many windier cities about. Likewise, Winnipeg is known as a windy city, probably because of the windchills we get, but we aren't the windiest either. :)

When the windy city was first named, it was because of all the "hot air" the politicians created! From a former Chicago resident.
We could say that too, but I'm pretty sure it's the wind tunnel effect at Portage and Main. :)
