T & N's postcards - 5

This card shows the lighthouse at Point Traverse (left), and the stone mill at Glenora (right). Both of these are in Ontario near Picton. The lighthouse was built in 1881, because 2/3 of schooner and steamboat wrecks were in this vicinty. Apparently you can even go scuba dive and check out the wrecks: Ducks Dive. Pretty cool! What I could find of the mill states that it was built in the early 1800's and that John A MacDonald lived in it at one point in his life - though they also mention he schooled in Kingston, which I'm pretty sure wouldn't have been a commutable distance in his day and age!
Thanks Auntie Terra!
