Contest - Yukon Map Card

~*~ Contest closed ~*~

As some of you may (or may not) know, last summer my family and I drove up to Fairbanks, AK, USA. It took 4 days for us to get there, and I bought many cards (but not nearly as many as the first time I headed up - I still have a bunch!).
Our trip took us from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada (my home town) to Edmonton, Alberta in the first day - for those curious, that is 16 hours, not counting stops. Oh and my kids were 4 and 6. They were great. We stayed in Edmonton for a day (and strangely - no souvenirs! How bizarre.) Then on to Fort Nelson, British Columbia, we made excellent time, about 12 hours. Then up to Whitehorse, Yukon. That, well it took us a while. A long while. 17 hours? Long day in a subcompact car! After that, into the states, and up to Fairbanks. While we were there, we saw the Arctic Circle, Anchorage and Seward. Amazing. :)

Anyways, Alaska cards seem to be a dime a dozen, but there aren't too many cards that I have seen of north Canada. So my husband, the wonderful man that he is found a store with map cards in them. And bought them for me. While me and the kids slept. Isn't he awesome?

And here I present: the map of Yukon, Canada!

I have two of these babies up for grabs. To enter, place a comment here with a link to your blog, your postcrossing forum name, or some other way for me to reach you if you won. I'll be choosing a random number for the winners. Contest ends February 15th, at noon my time (GMT -6). :) So make sure you get in before that!

Good Luck!

It's a wonderful card indeed... so glorious and sunny one forgets it comes from such a cold region!

Great card! And sounds like it was a great trip too :-) Had you ever tried a lengthy car trip with your kids before this one? I'd like to drive cross-country in the US with our kids but that won't be for another few years. I want them to be old enough to appreciate it (and to deal with being in the car for long stretches without screaming). They're only 2 and 2 months so I have time to save money and research things a bit. 4 and 6...I'll have to keep those ages in mind.
